Instructions
Chain 16 sts + 3 turning ch and crochet the border. After 104 rows = 84 cm (120 rows = 96 cm), finish the piece.
Work sc along the straight side edge of the border, starting with 1 WS row, working 188 (215) sc in row 1.
After 2 cm = 3 rows from attaching the sc edge, continue working in main pattern.
After 23 (21) cm from the start of the main pattern, divide the work into 3 sections and first continue working the back over the center 42 (48) cm, setting aside the stitches on both sides.
Important: work additional edge stitches if needed.
After 46 cm from the start of the main pattern, leave 3 (4) cm unworked on both sides for the shoulder slopes and repeat these decreases in the following row.
At the same time as the 1st shoulder slope decrease, leave the center 17 cm unworked for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
For the curve, leave 1 x 3 cm unworked at the inner edge in the following row.
After 49 cm from attaching the sc edge, finish the work on the remaining shoulder stitches.
Now continue working the left front first. To do this, put the stitches set aside from the left edge of the work back into work and continue in main pattern.
After 32 cm from the start of the main pattern, leave 1 cm at the left edge of the work for the neckline slope, and in each following row leave 10 x 1 and 1 x 0.5 cm unworked.
Work the shoulder slope on the right edge as for the back.
Finish the work on the remaining shoulder stitches at the same height as the back.
Work the right front as a mirror image.
Finishing
Sew the shoulder seams.
Edge all borders with the eyelet edging.
Sew buttons evenly onto the left front placket. Sew the first button at the start of the neckline, and the remaining buttons every 6.5 cm. The holes in the right front placket pattern serve as buttonholes.
