We don’t force you to upload a pattern before you can download one, we don’t ask for hidden fees, and we don’t even require registration. Everything is as simple and accessible as possible — just go to the pattern page and click the DOWNLOAD button.

FreeHandmade Pattern Submission Form
1. Fill in all required fields:
- Pattern Title: Provide a clear name for your design.
- Attach the pattern file: The maximum file size is 20MB. If you have multiple files (e.g., a triptych, polyptych, or a full project kit), we highly recommend compressing them into a single ZIP archive and attaching that file.
2. Fill in optional fields (if applicable):
- © Author / Brand: Specify the copyright holder, original designer, or brand of the pattern.
- Notes & Contacts: Add any useful description, yarn requirements, or your contact information (email, social media links) that you would like to be displayed on the public pattern page.
3. Click the “Submit” button
Now, all you have to do is wait! Your pattern has been sent for moderation and will soon be published on FreeHandmade.com.
Pattern moderation usually takes a few hours, though in some cases it may take up to 48 hours. The submitted pattern will be placed in the most appropriate category on the site (at the moderator’s discretion, or you can suggest a specific category in the notes field).
Please do not upload duplicate charts — repeated patterns will not pass moderation!
