This pattern shows how to embroider strawberries in satin stitch using the thread painting technique.

This design is quite simple despite using the satin stitch technique. Even a beginner embroiderer can stitch this motif, since the drawing has no complicated elements. The result will be a very beautiful piece of embroidery.
You will need:
- fabric for embroidery
- an embroidery needle. Tip: if your fabric is not evenweave but linen or cotton, use a needle with a sharp eye. This type of needle works best
- for embroidering on dense fabrics
- embroidery tools
- threads: green in three shades; white; yellow; red in two shades. You can choose the intensity and brightness of the colors as you like.
How to Embroider Strawberries in Satin Stitch
To create this embroidery, first transfer the design onto the fabric on which you plan to stitch the strawberries.
The stems and the stalks of the leaves and berries are worked in stem stitch.
All the other elements of the composition are done in satin stitch (thread painting) – see the picture and the pattern.

Enjoy your stitching time!
