Instructions

Back

With eggplant yarn, make a chain of 74 (80) 86 ch + 3 turning ch and work the main pattern in rows, back and forth, working the first 22 (24) 24 rows in eggplant, then continue according to the stripe sequence.

After 63 cm = 52 rows (65.5 cm = 54 rows) 65.5 cm = 54 rows from the starting row, or after 30 rows from the start of the stripe sequence, decrease for the armholes on both sides 1 x 6 sts, then in the next row 1 x 3 sts. To do this, skip the stitches at the beginning of the row, working slip stitches in a matching color, and leave them at the end of the row = 56 (62) 68 sts.

After 76.5 cm = 63 rows (81 cm = 67 rows) 83.5 cm = 69 rows from the starting row, skip the middle 22 (24) 26 sts for the neckline and finish both sides separately.

For shaping along the inner edge, decrease 1 x 2 sts in the following row as well.

After 79 cm = 65 rows (83.5 cm = 69 rows) 86 cm = 71 rows from the starting row, finish work on the remaining 15 (17) 19 shoulder sts.

Front

Work as for the back, but for a deeper neckline, already after 71.5 cm = 59 rows (76.5 cm = 63 rows) 79 cm = 65 rows from the starting row, skip the middle 8 (10) 12 sts, and for shaping decrease 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in each row.

Sleeves

With eggplant yarn, make a chain of 32 (38) 44 ch + 3 turning ch for each sleeve and work the main pattern in rows, back and forth, working the first 5 rows in eggplant, then continue according to the stripe sequence, starting with 1 WS row in rust.

For the sleeve shaping, increase on both sides in row 6 from the starting row 1 x 1 st, then in every 4th row 4 x 1 st, and in every 3rd row 4 x 1 st according to color and pattern = 50 (56) 62 sts.

After 42.5 cm = 35 rows from the starting row, or after 30 rows from the start of the stripe sequence, decrease for the sleeve cap on both sides 1 x 6 sts, then in every row 4 x 2 sts and 7 x 1 st.

After 57 cm = 47 rows from the starting row, finish work on the remaining 8 (14) 20 sts.
