Openwork Crochet Vest for Women - worn by a woman

Sizes: 36/38 (40/42) 44/46

To crochet the vest you will need: silver-gray Chiara yarn (70% viscose, 20% royal mohair, 10% polyamide, 190 m per 50 g) – 200-300 g; size 4 mm crochet hook.

Draw the pattern piece to full size and make the decreases by checking your work against it.

Working the openwork pattern: follow the chart. Start with the stitches before the repeat, repeat the pattern repeat stitches, and finish with the stitches after the repeat. Work rows 1-5 once, then repeat rows 2-5.

Gauge: 22 sts and 10.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: chain 101 (113) 125 sts plus 3 turning chains and work in the openwork pattern. Shape the armholes on both sides after 43 cm from the starting edge, following the schematic. At the same time, leave the center stitch for the V-neck and complete both sides separately, shaping the neckline slopes as shown on the schematic. Finish the work 17 (18) 19 cm from the start of the armhole.

Front: work the same as the back, but make a deeper V-neck. To do this, leave the center stitch after 32 cm from the starting edge and finish both sides separately, shaping the neckline slopes as shown on the schematic.
