Stitch Patterns and Charts
Main Pattern
Number of starting stitches is a multiple of 10 + 7.
Work according to Chart 1. Start with the stitches before the repeat, repeat the pattern repeat continuously, and end with the stitch after the repeat.
Work rows 1–5 once, then repeat rows 2–5 continuously.
Edging
Number of starting stitches is a multiple of 6 + 4.
Work as for the main pattern, but according to Chart 2, directly along the edge. The dots below the chart indicate the foundation stitches. Work row 1 once.

Gauge
21 sts x 8.75 rows = 10 x 10 cm, worked in the main pattern.

Instructions
Back
With burgundy yarn, make a chain of 87 (97) 107 ch + 3 turning ch and work in the main pattern.
For the raglan-style sleeves worked in one piece, increase 33 cm = 29 rows from the starting row on both sides by 1 st, then in each following row by another 4 x 1 st and 2 x 2 sts = 105 (115) 125 sts. Work the increases first as dc and gradually incorporate them into the pattern.
For the shoulder slope, on both sides bind off 8 cm = 17 sts (9 cm = 19 sts) 11 cm = 23 sts at 55 cm = 48 rows from the starting row, and in the next row bind off another 1 x 7.5 cm = 16 sts (9 cm = 19 sts) 9.5 cm = 20 sts. Finish work on the remaining 39 sts at 57 cm = 50 rows from the starting row.
Front
Work as for the back, but with a V-neckline. To do this, at 34 cm = 30 rows from the starting row, skip the center stitch and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline slope, along the inner edge, decrease 19 x 1 st in each row. At the same height as the back, finish work on the last 16 (19) 20 shoulder stitches.
Separate Front Piece
With brown yarn, make a chain of 82 (87) 92 ch + 3 turning ch and work in the main pattern; for sizes 1 and 3, finish with the stitches up to the arrow and 1 additional dc.
For the side slope along the left edge, increase * in each row from the starting row 2 x 1 st and in row 2, 1 x 1 st according to the pattern, repeat from * 4 more times.
At the same time, for the neckline slope along the right edge, decrease 4 sts at 19.5 cm = 17 rows from the starting row, then in each following row 12 x 4 sts, 7 x 3 sts and 8 x 2 sts.
For the sleeve worked in one piece, increase along the left edge at 34 cm = 30 rows from the starting row 1 x 1 st, then alternately in every row and every 2nd row 7 x 1 st according to the pattern.
For the shoulder slope, bind off along the left edge at 47 cm = 41 rows from the starting row 4 (6) 8 sts, then in each following row another 2 x 4 (5) 6 sts, and finish work on the remaining 4 (5) 6 shoulder sts at 50 cm = 44 rows from the starting row.
Finishing
Sew the seams, inserting the separate front piece into the right side and shoulder seam (starting at the neckline). Stretch the side edge of the separate front piece as needed.
Edge all pieces with the border pattern using yarn of the matching color.
For the ties, with burgundy yarn make a chain 20 cm long at the start of the neckline slope of the separate front piece. Make the second tie the same way, determining its position on the left side seam by trying on the garment.
