Patterns and Charts
Main Pattern
Number of starting stitches is a multiple of 12 + 1.
Work according to the chart. Begin each row with 1 or 3 turning chains instead of the first single crochet or the first double crochet, respectively, and with the stitches before the repeat; repeat the pattern repeat continuously, and finish with the stitches after the repeat.
Work rows 1–9 once, then repeat rows 2–9 continuously. The starting and ending stitches are calculated in the instructions as 1/2 repeat each.

Trim Pattern
Work in single crochet.
Rounds: begin each round with 1 chain instead of the first single crochet and end with 1 slip stitch into the chain. From the 2nd round on, insert the hook only through the back loop of the stitches.
Rows worked back and forth: begin each row with 1 turning chain instead of the first single crochet and finish with 1 single crochet into the turning chain of the previous row. On right-side rows insert the hook only through the back loop, on wrong-side rows only through the front loop.
Gauge
20 starting sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm in main pattern,
16 sts x 11 rows/rounds = 10 x 10 cm in trim pattern.
Note! The pullover is worked in one piece without shoulder seams, starting from the front. The trim is worked separately and sewn on.
Schematic

Instructions
Chain 142 + 1 turning chain and work 1 cm = 2 rows of single crochet, beginning each row with 1 chain instead of the first single crochet and ending with 1 single crochet into the turning chain.
At the same time, in row 2, increase 27 sts evenly spaced = 169 sts. Continue in main pattern = 13 repeats + 1/2 repeat on each side.
After 36.5 cm = 40 rows worked in main pattern, skip the center repeat for the neckline plus 1/2 repeat on each side minus 1 st for symmetry, and continue working both sides separately.
To shape the inner edge, decrease over the next 14 rows, evenly spaced, a total of 2 x 1/2 repeat = 4 repeats + 1/2 repeat on each side for each shoulder.
After 49 cm = 54 rows worked in main pattern, the middle of the shoulder is reached.
In the next row, using an intermediate chain of 47 sts, continue working the back on all stitches as one piece again.
After 98 cm = 108 rows worked in main pattern, work another 1 cm = 2 rows of single crochet, decreasing 27 sts evenly spaced in row 1, then finish off on the remaining 142 sts.
Trim
Chain 30 + 1 turning chain and work in trim pattern back and forth. Finish after 90 cm.
Finishing
For the collar, work around the neckline in trim pattern in rounds, working 114 sts in round 1. Finish after 16 cm from the start of the collar.
Sew the lower seams of the pullover and the sleeve seams on both sides for 19.5 cm (from * to * on the schematic). Sew the starting row and the bound-off edge of the trim together. Sew the right lengthwise edge of the trim to the lower edge of the pullover.
