You will need:
- 255 g pink yarn (75% acrylic, 25% bamboo, 230 m/85 g);
- 4 mm knitting needles;
- 3.75 mm crochet hook.
Size: 127 cm x 41 cm (including fringe).
Zigzag pattern (9 sts + 8): work from chart. Repeat rows 1-14.
GAUGE
Stockinette stitch: 22 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Knitting the Shawl
Cast on 71 sts and work 8 rows in garter stitch for the border.
In the next row (right side), arrange the stitches as follows: 4 sts garter stitch, 9-stitch repeat of the zigzag pattern worked 7 times (= 63 sts), 4 sts garter stitch, selvage st, and continue working in this sequence. When the piece measures 124 cm from the beginning, work 8 rows in garter stitch again and bind off.
Finishing
Lightly dampen the piece and let it dry. Along the lower and upper edges make tassels, cutting yarn into 40 cm lengths.
