Gauge
21.5 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm, worked in the 12-stitch starting row patterns.
Important! It is recommended to make a full-size paper pattern and, before separating the pieces into sections, check the increases and decreases by laying the work against the pattern.
Instructions
Back
Make a starting chain of 109 (121) 133 ch + 3 turning ch, then work in the 12-stitch starting row 1 pattern.
For the side slants, checking your work against the pattern, decrease 8.5 cm on both sides = 6 (7) 8 repeats remain.
After 30 (35) 40 cm from the starting row, continue working in the 12-stitch starting row 2 pattern.
After 48 (54) (60) cm from the starting row, leave the middle 16 (17) 18 cm unworked for the neckline (check against the pattern). Finish the shoulders separately.
After 50 (56) 62 cm from the starting row, finish the piece.
Front
Work the same as the back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, after 42 (48) 54 cm from the starting row, leave the middle 16 (17) 18 cm unworked (check against the pattern), then work the shoulders separately. Finish the piece at the same height as the back.
Finishing
Lightly dampen the pieces, stretch them to the measurements given in the pattern, pin them to the pattern, and leave to dry completely.
Sew the shoulder and side seams, leaving the top 20 (21) 22 cm open for the armholes.
Work around the neckline, armholes, and bottom edge with 1 round of single crochet (sc) and 1 round of crab stitch.
Lightly steam all seams when finished.
