You will need:
- 350 g of “Ricci” yarn;
- knitting needles.
Knitting the Pullover
Front: knit following the chart. Chart I shows one half of the front. Knit the other half the same way.
Back: knit the same as the front, but starting from row 77, in the center, instead of the lace pattern, knit as follows: 6 rows in stockinette stitch, 6 rows in reverse stockinette stitch, then again 6 rows in stockinette stitch, and so on to the top. No neckline shaping is needed.
Sleeves: Knit the bottom in the pattern shown in Chart 1, rows 1-7, for 16 cm. Leave an opening for the thumb. Then continue in reverse stockinette stitch, with a simple 6-stitch cable in the center, as on the center front. After knitting to 25 cm, work the cable toward the sides, as on the front, but without the lace, in stockinette stitch.
Neckline finishing: Pick up stitches and knit 8 cm in the same pattern as the bottom of the sleeves, front, and back. Finish with a crab stitch edging.
