Instructions
Back
Chain 26 (32) 38 + 2 turning chains and work in main pattern.
To shape the curved hem, cast on 5 x 6 chains on both sides every 2nd row from the starting row and work them into the pattern. After 12 rows = 86 (92) 98 sts.
After 9 cm from the starting row, decrease 1 st on both sides for shaping, then decrease 6 x 1 st every 3rd row and 4 x 1 st every 2nd row = 64 (70) 76 sts.
After 40 cm from the starting row, bind off 4 sts on both sides for the armholes, then decrease 4 x 1 st every following row = 48 (54) 60 sts.
After 55.5 cm from the starting row, bind off the center 20 sts for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
To shape the inner edge, decrease 2 x 1 st every following row.
Finish the work on the remaining 12 (15) 18 shoulder stitches after 59 cm from the starting row.
Front
Work the front first in 2 parts. For the right half, chain 6 + 2 turning chains and work in main pattern.
To shape the curved hem, cast on 6 chains at the end of row 1 and work them into the pattern. Then cast on another 4 x 6 chains every 2nd row and also work them into the pattern.
At the same time, decrease for shaping along the right edge: 1 st in row 2 from the starting row, then 6 x 1 st every 3rd row and 4 x 1 st every 2nd row; after 7 cm = 9 rows from the starting row, set the work aside temporarily.
Work the left half up to this point the same as the right half, but mirrored.
In the next row, join both parts by working a connecting chain of 14 (20) 26 sts, then continue working across all stitches in main pattern, continuing the shaping decreases on both sides = 64 (70) 76 sts.
Work the armhole decreases after 32.5 cm from the starting row the same as on the back = 48 (54) 60 sts.
After 34 cm from the joining row, bind off the center 14 sts for the neckline and decrease 5 x 1 st every row.
Finish the work on the remaining 12 (15) 18 shoulder stitches after 44 cm from the joining row.
