Instructions
Back
Using apple green yarn, chain 109 (121) sts + 3 turning chains, then work in “Shells” stitch pattern following the stripe sequence given.
For shaping, decrease 3 cm on both sides over the next 15 cm, then increase them again over the following 25 cm.
At 40 cm from the starting row, decrease 9 (11) cm on both sides for the armholes according to the schematic.
At 45 (47) cm from the starting row, decrease the middle 26 (28) cm according to the schematic, finishing both sides separately.
At 50 (52) cm from the starting row, finish the back.
Front
Work the same as the back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, at 37 (39) cm from the starting row, decrease the middle 26 (28) cm according to the schematic, finishing both sides separately. Finish the work at the same height as the back.
Finishing
Lightly dampen the pieces, stretch them to the measurements given on the schematic, pin them out on the pattern, and leave to dry completely.
Sew the side seams.
Work a lace edging around the armhole edges in apple green yarn.
Then work the lace edging around the neckline in apple green yarn; for the straps, chain a new foundation chain 26 cm long or any other length needed. Then work rows 3 and 4 of the lace over row 1 of the straps.
Finally, lightly steam all the seams.
