Flower Pattern

The number of starting stitches is a multiple of 11 + 1.

Work according to the chart. Start with the stitch before the repeat, repeat the pattern repeat continuously, and end with the stitches after the repeat.

Instructions

Back

With white yarn, chain 82 sts + 3 turning chain and work in main pattern.

For the extended shoulders, at 33 cm from the beginning, increase 8 x 1 st on both sides every 2nd row according to pattern = 98 sts.

At 51 cm from the beginning, leave the center 28 sts unworked for the neckline and continue working the right side first.

For shaping the inner edge, skip 1 st in the following row = 34 sts.

At 53 cm from the beginning, the shoulder line is reached (mark it!).

Then for the front yoke, continue past the shoulder line for another 9 rows in pattern 1, decreasing 1 st at the right edge in rows 6 and 8 from the shoulder line = 32 sts.

At 8.5 cm = 9 rows from the shoulder line, finish working.

Finish the left half as a mirror image.

Left Front

With light green yarn, chain 56 sts and work in flower pattern according to the color sequence.

At 33 cm = 33 rows from the beginning, shape the neckline slope on the left edge over the next 12 rows, evenly distributing 2 pattern repeats. To do this, after rows 9 and 12 of the pattern respectively, omit the last half-flower of the row 4 times.

At the same time, for the extended shoulder, at 33 cm from the beginning increase 1 pattern repeat evenly over the next 12 rows on the right edge.

At 45 cm = 45 rows from the beginning, finish working.

Right Front

Work the same as the left front, but as a mirror image.

Finishing

Sew on the yokes, overlapping them onto the slightly eased upper edges of the fronts.

Sew the side seams, leaving the top 21 cm open for the armholes.

For the sleeve bands, with white yarn cast on 80 sts on knitting needles and work 10 rows in stockinette stitch, then bind off loosely. Sew the cast-on edge of the band to the armhole (the tops of the cast-on stitches should sit at the top). Sew the band seams.

For the front and back neckline bands, with white yarn cast on 260 sts, work bands as for the sleeve bands, and sew on.

Remove the original zipper pull with pliers and attach the decorative pull. Sew in the zipper, tucking it under the front edges so that the band can roll to the outside.

With double white yarn, make two chains 30 cm long and use them to cover the zipper tape on the inside on both sides.
