Instructions

Back and Fronts

Chain 63 (75) sts + 3 turning chains and work in pattern 2, working an extra 3 tr on each side for the smaller size.

After 32 (33) cm, divide the work for the armholes and continue working the back and fronts separately. Work the fronts on the outer 14 (17) sts, and the back on the middle 35 (41) sts. After 52 (55) cm from the beginning, work across all stitches again.

After 60 (63) cm from the beginning, end the work.

Sleeves

Cast on 24 (26) sts on needles for each sleeve and work between the selvage stitches in pattern 1. For the sleeve shaping, increase 1 st on each side every 5th row 11 (12) times. After 45 cm from the beginning, bind off all stitches straight across.

Finishing

Lightly dampen the pieces, stretch them to the measurements shown in the schematic, and leave to dry completely.

Work 1 row of sc around the bound-off edge and neckline band. Pick up 215 (241) sc along the outer edges onto circular needles and work 10 cm in pattern 1; in row 1, work 5 sts from each corner stitch and mark them. In row 3, increase 3 sts inside the marked stitches, and in row 5 increase 5 sts. Bind off loosely.

Sew in the sleeves so the center of each sleeve matches the shoulder seam. Sew the sleeve seams. Lightly press all seams when finished.
