Stitch Patterns and Charts

Main Pattern

Number of stitches is a multiple of 3 + 1.

Work according to Chart 1. Begin each row with 1 turning chain instead of the first sc and with the stitches before the repeat; repeat the pattern repeat continuously, and end with the stitch after the repeat.

Work rows 1–3 once, then repeat rows 2 and 3 continuously.

Note! The pattern begins with 1 wrong-side row.

Lace Pattern

Number of starting stitches is a multiple of 4 + 1.

Work according to Chart 2 directly on the last row of the ribbing. The dots below the chart represent single crochet (sc) stitches.

Begin each row with 3 or 1 turning chain instead of the first dc or sc, and with the stitches before the repeat; repeat the pattern repeat continuously, and end with the stitches after the repeat.

Work rows 1–5 once, then repeat rows 2–5 continuously.

Note! The pattern begins with 1 wrong-side row. The starting and ending stitches are calculated in the instructions per 1 repeat, respectively.

Instructions

Back

Chain 94 (106) 115 sts + 1 turning chain and work the ribbing for 2 cm = 4 rows of sc, starting with 1 wrong-side row. Begin each row with 1 chain instead of the first sc and end with 1 sc in the replacement chain.

Continue working in the main pattern; the dots below the chart here represent the sc of the last ribbing row.

After 58 cm = 84 rows (60 cm = 87 rows) 62 cm = 90 rows from the ribbing, decrease for the shoulder slope on both sides 12 (12) 15 sts (at the beginning of the row skip, working slip stitches, and at the end of the row leave sts unworked) and in the following row decrease another 1 x 12 (15) 15 sts.

After 59.5 cm = 86 rows (61.5 cm = 89 rows) 63.5 cm = 92 rows from the ribbing, finish work on the remaining 46 (51) 55 sts.

Front

For the middle section, chain 49 (52) 55 sts + 1 turning chain and work the ribbing as for the back.

Continue working in the lace pattern, working 15 (16) 17 repeats in row 1. This corresponds to 61 (65) 69 starting stitches. To do this, in the chain arches of row 1, evenly distributed, skip 12 x 2 and 3 x 3 (13 x 2 and 3 x 3) 14 x 2 and 3 x 3 sc of the last ribbing row.

After 45.5 cm = 50 rows (47.5 cm = 52 rows) 50 cm = 55 rows from the ribbing, leave the middle 7 (8) 9 repeats minus 1 stitch for symmetry unworked for the neckline, and finish both sides separately.

For rounding along the inner edge, decrease over the following 9 rows, evenly distributed, the remaining 4 repeats each.

After 53.5 cm = 59 rows (55.5 cm = 61 rows) 58 cm = 64 rows from the ribbing, all stitches are used up.

We recommend making a full-size pattern template, periodically laying the work against it, and checking the stitch decreases.

For the right side section, work along the left lengthwise edge of the middle section first with 1 row of sc, working 118 (124) 130 stitches. This row is not counted in subsequent calculations.

Continue working in the main pattern.

For the shoulder slope, decrease along the right edge of the work every 4th row 3 x 1 st (every 5th row 3 x 1 st) every 6th row 3 x 1 st.

At the same time, for the lower slope, increase along the left edge of the work every row 15 x 1 st (every row 8 x 1 st and every 2nd row 4 x 1 st) every row 6 x 1 st and every 2nd row 6 x 1 st according to the pattern.

After 11 cm = 16 rows (12.5 cm = 18 rows) 14 cm = 20 rows from the middle section, finish work on the remaining 130 (133) 139 sts.

Work the left side section on the right lengthwise edge of the middle section the same way, but mirrored.

Sleeves

For each sleeve, chain 43 (50) 57 sts + 1 turning chain and work the ribbing as for the back.

Continue working in the lace pattern, working 13 (15) 17 repeats in row 1. This corresponds to 53 (61) 69 starting stitches. To do this, in the chain arches of row 1, evenly distributed, skip 12 x 2 and 3 x 3 (13 x 2 and 3 x 3) 14 x 2 and 3 x 3 sc of the last ribbing row.

At the same time, increase for the sleeve slope on both sides every 8th row from the ribbing 6 x 1 repeat = 25 (27) 29 repeats + 1 repeat on each side.

After 53.5 cm = 59 rows from the ribbing, finish work.

Finishing

Sew the shoulder seams.

Work 1 round of sc around the neckline.

Sew in the sleeves, sew the side seams and sleeve seams.
