You will need:
- 100 g of mint-colored Javol yarn (75% sheep’s wool, 18% polyamide, 7% polyacrylic);
- 190 м/45 г + 5 г);
- a set of 5 double-pointed needles, size 2.5 mm.
Rib: work alternately k2, p2.
Stockinette stitch: RS rows – knit, WS rows – purl; when working in rounds, knit all sts.
Lace pattern: work from Chart 1. On even rounds, knit all sts and all yarn overs.
Repeat rounds 1-16.
Gauge, stockinette stitch: 30 sts and 42 rows = 10×10 cm.
Instructions:
Cast on 56 sts (14 sts on each of 4 needles) and work 12 cm in rib. Continue in lace pattern, decreasing 2 sts on round 1 = 54 sts. After 7 cm from the rib, increase 2 sts and start working the heel following the general rules for knitting socks.
After the heel, work in stockinette stitch. After 19 cm from the middle of the heel, start shaping the toe. Fold the cuff outward twice.
