Sizes
38/39 (40/41) 42/43
You Will Need
- yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 210 m / 50 g) – 50 g each of blue, yellow, and green
- 2 yellow buttons, 1 cm in diameter
- 2.5-3 mm crochet hook
Patterns and Charts
Main Pattern
Work in the round in half double crochet; begin each round with 1 turning chain and finish with a slip stitch into the first half double crochet of the round. After the 2nd round, turn the work before each following round (to prevent the start of the rounds from shifting).
Crochet Flower Motif
For each flower, first work 4 leaves in green yarn following the chart. Then arrange the leaves into a flower shape and sew them to the top of each sock on the outer side, fastening them in the center with a button.

Stripe Sequence
Alternate 2 rows blue, 2 rows yellow, and 2 rows green.
Gauge
23 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm, worked in main pattern.
Instructions
Using blue yarn, work 8 half double crochets into a magic ring, and following the general tutorial for crocheting socks, increase the number of stitches for the toe to 44 (44) 48 sts, while working the main pattern and changing yarn colors in the sequence given.
When the foot length reaches 18 (19) 20 cm from the beginning of the work, following the tutorial, work increases on both sides of the center stitches for the heel and instep: increase 6 (6) 7 times by 4 stitches in each row = 68 (68) 76 sts.
Then, with blue yarn, work back and forth in rows on 15 (15) 17 sts, as described in the tutorial, to form the heel flap = work a total of 19 (19) 21 rows for the heel flap. After finishing the heel, work the top of the sock in the round in the main pattern, continuing the stripe sequence given, decreasing a total of 4 (4) 6 sts in the first two rows as indicated in the tutorial = 44 (44) 48 sts.
After 14 rows from the start of the sock top, finish the work.
Work the left sock the same way.
When finished, sew a flower to the outer side of each sock.
