Stitch design 4″ from short edge of fabric (top of bellpull).
Trim stitched fabric 7 1/4″ w x 14 1/2″ h (4 1/2″ from bottom of design and 3 1/2″ from top of design).
Fold corners at bottom of design in towards center until fabric meets; finger press seam.
Trim fabric 1/4″ away from fold forming point at bottom of bellpull. Place decorative fabric and stitched fabric right sides toghether.
Sew sides and pointed bottom together using a scant 1/4″ seam allowance. Turn right side out and press carefully on wrong side of stitching.
Turn top edge of black fabric under 1/4″ and press. Press 1″ of black fabric to back; sew in place.
Cut 1/4″ dowel 9″ long. Paint with black acrylic paint. Cut grove in each end of dowel and pull hanging thread through each grove. Knot end of thread.
