Knitting the Telescope Cable Stitch Pattern
Row 1 and every odd row (wrong side): purl all stitches.
Row 2: knit all stitches.
Row 4: * C4B (slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold behind work, knit next 2 sts, then knit the 2 sts from the cable needle), k4, C4F (slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, knit next 2 sts, then knit the 2 sts from the cable needle), repeat from * to end.
Row 6: knit all stitches.
Row 8: * k2, C4F (slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, knit next 2 sts, then knit the 2 sts from the cable needle), C4B (slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold behind work, knit next 2 sts, then knit the 2 sts from the cable needle), k2, repeat from * to end.
Rows 1 through 8 form the pattern repeat.
