Schematic

Instructions

Make a starting chain of 120 (132) 144 chains + 3 chains to replace the first dc, then work in rounds of dc.

After 1 (3) 5 cm from the starting row, divide the stitches for the back and front = 60 (66) 72 sts each.

Finish the pieces separately.

Back

Work in rows back and forth in dc, leaving 3 sts unworked at each side in row 1 for the armholes, then leave unworked 1 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in each following row.

At an armhole height of 5 (7) 9 cm, divide the stitches at the center for the slit and finish the sides separately.

At a height of 9 (11) 13 cm from the start of the armholes, leave 12 (14) 16 sts unworked along the inner edge for the neckline.

After 11 (13) 15 cm from the armholes, finish the piece.

Front

Work the same as the back, but without the slit and with a deeper neckline. For this, after 7 (9) 11 cm from the start of the armholes, leave the middle 24 (28) 32 sts unworked.

Finish the shoulders separately. Finish the piece at the same height as the back.

Skirt

Work from the starting row of the top part from one of the side edges in rounds in “Shell” stitch = work the pattern repeat 20 (22) 24 times.

After 27 (31) 35 cm from the start of the “Shell” pattern, finish the work after round 1.

Finishing

Lightly dampen and stretch the pieces to the measurements given in the schematic, pin to the schematic, and leave to dry completely.

Sew the shoulder seams.

Edge the sleeve slits and neckline with picot.

Sew the button to the right edge of the slit below the neckline and fasten using dc.

When finished, lightly steam all the seams.
