Begin each row/round with 1 turning chain instead of the first sc, and end each round with 1 sl st into the turning chain.
Flower 1
Make a starting chain of 5 ch and join with 1 sl st into a ring.
Round 1: 3 ch (counts as first dc), * 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 dc, repeat from * 3 times, 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 sl st into top of turning chain.
Round 2: 1 ch (counts as first sc), * 5 dc into the next ch-space of the previous round, 1 sc between the next 2 dc, repeat from * 3 times, 5 dc into the next ch-space of the previous round, 1 sl st into turning chain.
Flower 2

Two colors of yarn: 2 x brown/bright pink, 2 x purple/purple, 1 x brown/purple, 1 x purple/bright pink, 1 x brown/orange, 1 x bright pink/bright pink.
Flower 3
One color of yarn: 3 x orange, 5 x purple, 7 x bright pink.
Flower 4
Two colors of yarn: 3 x brown/orange, 3 x brown/bright pink, 2 x purple/orange, 2 x orange/purple, 1 x purple/bright pink, 1 x bright pink/bright pink.
Flower 5
One color of yarn: 5 x orange, 3 x purple, 1 x bright pink.
Flower 6
One color of yarn: 2 x orange, 2 x purple, 1 x bright pink.

Finishing
Draw the back and front pattern piece to full size.
Arrange the crocheted flowers evenly on the paper pattern. First, without pulling tight, join the brown flowers using brown yarn with chain arches and single sc stitches, then, again without pulling tight, join the remaining flowers with brown yarn in the same way – see the diagram below. Join the shoulder and side seams in the same manner. Finally, work 1 round of sc around the neckline and armholes with brown yarn.
