Instructions
Back
With khaki yarn, make a starting chain of 67 (79) 91 ch + 3 turning ch, then work in the 12-stitch pattern of the starting row.
After 23 (27) 31 cm from the starting row, switch to the 4-stitch pattern.
After 35 (41) 47 cm from the starting row, leave the middle 24 (28) 32 sts unworked for the neckline, finish the sides separately, leaving 2 x 2 sts unworked at the neckline edge in each following row.
After 38 (44) 50 cm from the starting row, finish the piece.
Front
Work the same as the back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, after 31 (37) 43 cm from the starting row, leave the middle 20 (24) 28 sts unworked, finish the shoulders separately, leaving 3 x 2 sts unworked at the neckline edge in each following row.
Finish the piece at the same height as the back.
Sleeves
With khaki yarn, make a starting chain of 34 (38) 42 ch + 3 turning ch for each sleeve and work 3 cm in sc.
Then work in the 12-stitch pattern of the starting row, evenly increasing 7 (8) 9 cm on both sides for the sleeve slant, checking your work against the pattern.
After 21 (26) 31 cm from the starting row, finish the piece.
Finishing
Lightly dampen the pieces, stretch them to the measurements shown in the schematic, and leave to dry completely.
Sew the shoulder seams.
Work around the neckline edge with khaki and coral yarn: 1 round of sc, then 1 round of “crab stitch” in pink yarn.
Sew in the sleeves so that the center of the sleeve matches the shoulder seam. Sew the side seams and sleeve seams.
Lightly steam the seams when finished.
