Gauge
14 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm, worked in main stitch with a 5 mm hook.
Important! The bag schematic is shown without the base.
Instructions
For the base, using a 2.5 mm hook and pink yarn, chain 40 + 1 turning chain and work in main stitch in continuous rounds following the chart. In the 1st round, work single crochet around both sides of the chain and increase as shown on the chart. After 11 rounds (= end of chart) finish the base.
Using a 5 mm hook, crochet 10 strips for the bag body, following color sequence 1-10 and joining the strips as described above. Finish after 36 cm = 64 rows from the starting row.
For the handles, using a 2.5 mm hook and yellow yarn, chain 10 and work 40 cm = 72 rows following the color sequence.
Finishing
Fold the bag body in half and sew the side seam. Sew in the base.
Sew the handles to the top edge of the bag as shown in the photo.
