- A large binder clip

- Two small cardboard isosceles triangles (wrapped in clear tape to make them waterproof)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
First of all, you need to prepare your paints. For this project, vibrant shades work best. It is also a good idea to prepare some diluted paint alongside your regular colors to create softer gradients and transitions.
Next, fold the fabric like an accordion (pleating it) and then fold it down into a triangle shape. It is important to make the final folded fabric triangle as small and compact as possible. Place the previously prepared cardboard triangles on the top and bottom of the folded fabric, and secure everything tightly with the binder clip.
Now, you can start the painting process! Remember that undiluted paint yields a much brighter and more intense color than diluted paint. We recommend using the diluted paint for the background areas, and applying the concentrated, regular paint directly onto the folds and edges. To dry your fabric, place the clipped triangle into an empty glass or jar with the binder clip facing downwards. You need to let it sit and dry completely for about 24 hours.
