Today, we will be working on a beautiful Chinese latch hook rug kit that features a vibrant design of flowers resting on stones. Latch hooking is a relaxing and rewarding craft, and this set has everything we need to get started.
The kit includes a sturdy rug canvas, conveniently pre-gridded into 10×10 squares to make counting and following the pattern much easier. The edges of the canvas are already neatly bound to prevent fraying, and the back features a non-slip underlay — very similar to the backing we saw in the ladybug kit.
The final dimensions of our latch hook masterpiece will be 58 by 40 centimeters. To bring this picture to life, the set provides a generous supply of pre-cut yarn in 10 different colors. Of course, it also includes the essential latch hook tool (the special hook with a hinged latch) and a detailed printed color chart that we will follow to create our fluffy rug.
